Sex crime investigators are trying to uncover the identities of six women found dead at the home of a convicted rapist, Thursday.

Cleveland cops made the gruesome discovery while attempting to serve a warrant to 50-year-old Anthony Sowell, in relation to a sexual assault investigation.

Because all of the bodies are badly decomposed, the coroner is finding it hard to determine the ages and dates of each woman’s violent death. “It’s very difficult to tell,” said Cuyahoga County Coroner Frank Miller III. “It’s been some time, I would say probably at least weeks, if not months or years.”

All six of the victims are reported to have been strangled to death, before each of their bodies were buried in makeshift graves. Investigators say two of the badly decomposed bodies were discovered on the third floor of the home, the third victim was uncovered in a ‘freshly dug grave’ under the basement stairs, the bodies of victim four and five were found stuffed in a crawl space, and the sixth body was found buried just outside of the home, in a shallow grave.

A woman reported she was raped by Sowell, about a month ago. “Once we were able to get the cooperation of the victim, we secured an arrest warrant for Mr. Sowell,” said Detective Stacho. “Subsequently a search warrant for his premises.”

Sowell remained on the run until Saturday. That’s when investigators were tipped-off with the convicted rapist’s whereabouts. Sowell was arrested while walking past the 4th District Police Headquarters.

The sick fuck was released from prison back in 2005, after he finished serving a 15-year sentence, for what else but rape. The question is: WHY DID THEY EVER LET HIM OUT???
