BILL COSBY: “You’re not Going to Put Women Down”
Tuesday, October 13th, 2009
Veteran comedian, Bill Cosby is set to inject a new wave of positivity into our black youth, through the use of music. Cosby’s new album, “Bill Cosby Presents Cosnarati: State of Emergency,” is scheduled for release, November 24th.
“I don’t like referring to the music as clean,” Cosby said. “What I like is what you’re not going to do. You’re not going to curse. You’re not going to put women down. You’re not going to put the glory of the gun somewhere. And you’re not going to put a whole lot of violence up front like that’s the thing that will cleanse you and make you feel better.”
The project is a musical gumbo of funk, R&B, rock, jazz and Hip-Hop – featuring a list of songs, with various deep messages including, addressing worthless fathers in, “Dad Behind the Glass, and giving praise to black women in, “Where’s the Parade.” (more…)
