If you assume that you’re watching a fleet of millionaires on the reality program “The Millionaire Matchmaker”, you’re dead wrong.

That’s because the newest cast member of the show is more than the great grandson of a man who once owned 20th Century Fox, the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Denver Broncos. Jason “Gummy Bear” Davis is also a man who can’t pay his $3,600-a-month rent! Hollywood insiders say Davis was recently served with an eviction notice at his Los Angeles apartment — an apartment that I couldn’t have been the size of my bedroom. Labeling Jason Davis, who is an heir cut off from his wealthy family for being a LOSER and DRUG ADDICT as an Entrepreneur is a TOTAL FRAUD!

This isn’t the first time that a show (which boggles my mind after making it to its third season) has tried to pull the wool over your eyes. You may remember Brett Jacobson, from the reality program. He’s the owner of failed energy drink “HER”, who also claimed to be a millionaire on the show — but isn’t who he claims to be. That’s because in reality, it’s been about a year since Jacobson paid his rent for his Hollywood apartment — AND is also being evicted! What’s worse is Brett is on the rip-off artists list, and dubbed as having “a history of stealing from charities, investors, and committing Fraud” and is sized up as being “extremely difficult, and a fast talker. This post is for caution and any other companies he’s dealt.” HSK has also confirmed that Brett informed the LAPD that his landlord kidnapped him and his co- worker. (more…)

The nominations for NAACP Image Awards are in. And, considering that this awards ceremony is presented by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to honor outstanding individuals of color in television, film, music and literature; the “Outstanding Reality Series” nominees are bothersome to me, as a black brother.

Here are the programs running for the Outstanding Reality Series award:

• “American Idol 8? (FOX)
• “America’s Next Top Model” (CW)
• “Dancing With the Stars” (ABC)
• “Extreme Makeover” (ABC)
• “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (Bravo)

I’m totally disgusted, to say the least. First of all, these television shows are not aimed at an urban audience. Secondly, the shows in question have done damage to our simple enjoyments. (more…)

Why do many of yesterday’s stars think it’s okay to push themselves back into the spotlight after their five minutes of fame wrap?

People like MC Hammer, Fat Man Scoop and Too Live Crew’s Luther Campbell all landed reality television spots…And guess what? They all FLOPPED! Now, you have yesterday’s hot names like TLC’s Chili and E-40 lining up to make an ass out of themselves and their families – WTF in the world is wrong with these black people? Don’t they realize that the kids are watching? Don’t they care? I mean I expect this type of wayward behavior from people who were originally untalented nobodies (like the Kendra, Paris Hilton, The Kardashians and Brooke Hogan), but I figure real artists should know better…Don’t you?
