Skinny dippers in California are being told to put their clothes on. Nudity bans are now in place at beaches across the state, some of which have been nude sunbathing spots for the past 30 years.

“We are going to be moving forward with starting to enforce the nudity statute down at San Onofre, and basically returning that portion of the beach to all people who want to go down there without fear of running into something they didn’t think they would,” stated Park Superintendent Richard Haydon. “People should very well be under notice.”

California Supreme Court made the decision after receiving reports of sexual activity and solicitation for sex.

San Onofre State Beach, a 1000-foot section of shoreline, is one of the places being targeted, but many nude beach goers are reported to refuse to button-up. Dozens of nudists have been spotted at San Onfre Beach since the beginning of November. On hot summer days, San Onfre Beach is said to attract hundreds of sunbathers in-the-buff. (more…)

Clay Tepel knew there were risks to setting up a medical marijuana shop: it could lose money, be robbed or be raided by authorities.

Still, he wasn’t expecting the phone call one August day when a voice said the police were outside and he needed to open up or they would bust down the door. His first thought, that it was a joke, turned to terror when he opened the door.

Heavily armed officers in helmets, bulletproof vests and, oddly enough, Bermuda shorts stormed his store, handcuffed him, disabled security cameras and seized his drugs before taking him to jail. When he asked why his shop was invaded, an officer responded, “We’re closing them all down.”

Those words could prove prescient after Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley said last week he wants to shutter clinics that sell pot for profit. Cooley’s plan is the latest salvo in a prolonged conflict in California over whether medical marijuana is truly having its intended effect or is being abused by the larger population. (more…)

HSK was in the house for the DJ Quik, E-40 concert at the Ventura Theater in Ventura Ca on Saturday night. Let me start by saying the Ventura Theater is a great place to catch your favorite act!! It’s small with great sound and a historical setting. It kind of has that House of Blues feel to it. And guess what? They ain’t really checking for irb so bring your weed mane!! The other thing about this venue is it’s located near Oxnard… you know what that means…Lots of Latinas reppin’ the 805, and looking fine too!!(and to the sexy lady sittin’ next to me enjoying the show and smokin’ with me, leave a comment and I’ll get at you sweetheart!!)

Quik took the stage at an early 10pm. His set started with the group 2nd II None. They did some of their classic joints from back in the day. Then Quik took front and center stage and he did not disappoint. Playing a mix of his old school and new school tracks. Quik’s live shows always has great audio, know why? Because he actually does a SOUND CHECK mane!! Makes all the difference. Quik also performed with tons of energy, jumping into the crowd and on the speakers and shit like that. Quik’s body guards had a hard time keepin’ up with him. The crowd was feelin’ it too, rappin’ along and groovin’ to the beat. Quik’s set ended with him chillin’ in the crowd, and everyone on one!!

If you were here in California back in 1996 and you voted on Prop. 215 (legalization of medical marijuana) you’ve had a few years to see dispensaries come and go. Some have been great, some have been bullshit. Recently there was in influx of new shops opening up due to some legal loopholes. It seemed like everyone that wanted to open a shop could and did.

Now where there used to be one of Jacky’s favorite dispensaries there was now 4. How could anyone compete? Things were looking shaky for a while but eventually the city revoked alot of the newer licenses.
After some disappointments and more searching I’m happy to report I’ve found HSK’s new favorite collective in town!

Sunset Organic is run by cool down to earth people that know their product and how to make people comfortable while they’re there. There’s no cops parked out front all the time like some places either! Know why? The guys that own it are European mane!

I’ve never danced before.
I’m from a small town in upstate California and now I’m a stripper in a big city.
The older girls here sniff a lot of cocaine and take pills. They kinda cute though and I can’t help but notice how easily they get money from the guys.
Most of the girls are ethnic, and only 5 white girls including me. I’m also the youngest.
Jacky always says that’s an advantage, and boy is he right.
