Morgan Freeman made his debut as replacement for Walter Cronkite’s voice on CBS’ Evening News, Monday.

The actor will stand in for the news program’s feature voice-over. The change comes about six months after the legendary newsman’s death, whose voice has been a staple in the news community for more nearly half a century. Cronkite joined CBS News back in 1950, after being recruited by Edward R. Murrow.

Now, you’ll hear Freeman introducing Katie Couric during CBS’ evening news time slot.

“As comforting as it is to look back on the great career that Walter had, we’re looking forward now and we just felt it was the right time to make the move that at some point had to be made,” said CBS News and Sports President Sean McManus. “This seemed like the appropriate time since Walter’s passing to make the move.”

During the height of his career as a CBS anchor, Cronkite was cited as “The Most Trusted Man in America.” Now, a man who many accuse of incest is replacing the voice of a legendary news man. (more…)

Amidst Shaquille O’Neal’s messy break-up from his wife of of seven-years, another woman has surfaced.

Model Vanessa Lopez has made it publicly known that she believed she was pregnant with the NBA star’s baby during their five-year long sexual affair. After Lopez alerted Shaq to the news, Lopez says he began harassing her.

The break-up of porn’s noted ‘First Couple,’ Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld, recently sparked Patrick to blame her husband for choosing porn over their marriage.

Now, Seinfeld is speaking out against Patrick’s claim. During a recent interview, Seinfeld pointed to Patrick’s lack of interest in sex as a major problem in their relationship. “She’s not a sexual person. We barely had sex in our own marriage. She’s desperate to break into the mainstream, and just wants to generate press,” Seinfeld said. “I didn’t choose porn over her, I chose freedom.”

Seinfeld and Patrick were married back in January 2004.

Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren plans to fight for full custody of their children.
A close friend of Nordegren says the mother of Woods’ two kids is looking to testify that her cheating husband/golfing great is an unfit father.

“She wants 100 percent divorce, 100 percent custody of the children, and half of everything. And she won’t be changing her mind,” the sources says.

Now, Nordegran has retained the services of celebrity divorce attorney, Sorell Trope. Trope is reported to cost at least half of Tiger’s multimillion dollar fortune.

Elin and the kids will be spending Christmas with her family in Sweden, while Tiger is set to head to the Bahamas with a group of his party pals. Word has it that Tiger has been actually shacking up with one of his jump-offs Rachael (the chic kickin it with Gloria Alred) in West Palm Beach where she has a condo and where Tiger has been “Living” on a yacht. Matthew Knowles’ long history of tricking has finally led to him to losing his wife of 29 years.

In a recent statement released to the public, Tina and Matthew Knowles commented on their pending divorce.

“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly, messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”

Rapper Nas has been ordered to pay $40,454 in spousal support and $10,647 in child support, each month. The decision was made by the judge presiding over Nas and Kelis’ messy divorce and custody battle, Wednesday.

Kelis is reported to have taken the stand, testifying that she’s having difficulty making money, because she recently gave birth to Nas’ son. The “My Milkshake Brings All the Boys to the Yard” singer also testified that times are tough for her in the music business. But, the big issue in the case seems to be how much money Nas makes? Just weeks after Shaquille O’Neal’s wife of almost seven-years, Shaunie, filed for legal separation from the basketball star, another woman is telling all about the former Laker. Latosha Lee, an Atlanta stripper and babymother to Oklahoma Thunder baller, Damien Wilkins, says she was involved in a year-long sexual love affair with Shaq…and has the texts and e-mails to prove it.

In one of her e-mails to Shaq, Latosha mentions details of their sexcapades, and asks him to “buy her a purse because she just saw Sex and the City and wants a nice one.” What’s worse is Latosha has also called Shaq out as a professional trick, saying the baller has about 20 other women on his “keep this quiet” payroll.

The golfing great’s cheating scandal was sparked after the Woods’ wife went ballistic over his extramarital relations with New York party planner, Rachel Uchitel. Just weeks before Elin Nordegren swung a golf club at Tiger’s SUV, while he was inside, Uchitel was spotted staying at the same Australian hotel, during the same time, Woods was also staying there. Both Woods and Uchitel are denying the affair. (This is not the first time Uchitel has been linked to a married man. She’s also reported to have been sexually involved with married TV actor David Boreanaz earlier this year.)

Now, Jamie Grubbs, a former San Diego cocktail waitress and aspiring model, is letting the world know about a three-year-long sexual affair with the golf icon. And, she says she has the sexting messages to prove it… (more…)

The battle continues between NBA star Shaquille O’Neal and his estranged wife, Shaunie.

Shaq is fighting to have Shaunie’s divorce case from the pro ball player, removed from California’s court system. Council for the former Laker have filed court documents citing Shaunie as a Florida resident. They say because of that, she should not be allowed to move forward with her case in California.
