Most people who listen to Dance Hall don’t have a clue what the artist is saying, It’s similar to Down South rap.

There is a difference between Reggae and Dance Hall. Reggae has more culture, Reggae is the Caribbean version of the American Blues. Put it this way, Reggae to Dance hall is like Hip Hop to Gangsta Rap. HIP HOP has more culture.
