CALIFORNIA CRACKS DOWN ON NUDE SUNBATHERS

Skinny dippers in California are being told to put their clothes on. Nudity bans are now in place at beaches across the state, some of which have been nude sunbathing spots for the past 30 years.
“We are going to be moving forward with starting to enforce the nudity statute down at San Onofre, and basically returning that portion of the beach to all people who want to go down there without fear of running into something they didn’t think they would,” stated Park Superintendent Richard Haydon. “People should very well be under notice.”
California Supreme Court made the decision after receiving reports of sexual activity and solicitation for sex.
San Onofre State Beach, a 1000-foot section of shoreline, is one of the places being targeted, but many nude beach goers are reported to refuse to button-up. Dozens of nudists have been spotted at San Onfre Beach since the beginning of November. On hot summer days, San Onfre Beach is said to attract hundreds of sunbathers in-the-buff. (more…)
