One Houston lawyer says a 22-word clause in a 2005 constitutional amendment born to ban gay marriages, voids legal status of all marriages in Texas.

Barbara Ann Radnofsky, a Democratic candidate for state attorney general, says attorney general, Republican Greg Abbott is to blame for giving the green light to the language that’s now part of the constitution. Radnofsky says Subsection B is what’s voiding all Texas marriages. It reads as follows:

“This state or a political subdivision of this state may not create or recognize any legal status identical or similar to marriage.”

Despite what is being referred to as “a massive mistake”, a spokesperson for Abbott says he’s standing behind the amendment.

Apparently, the racist state of Texas will do anything to hold back its immigrants, blacks, Mexicans and homosexuals. Now, marriage no longer exists in the state of Texas. Know why? Because its politicians would settle for the destruction of the union between men and women, to ensure same sex couples never being married in their racist state. Maybe now, former Mayor of San Antonio, Henry Cisneros can seal things with his wife of more than two decades, after he publicly acknowledged his affair with Linda Medlar.

Everything is big in Texas — even its asshole politicians…Don’t you agree?
