It totally disgusts me to fall witness to what black music has become. In fact, it’s not really about music anymore. Now, it’s all about which ‘artist’ is cheating on their spouse, who has the latest beef, what he or she was wearing at some awards show, etc. — this leads me to ask: WHERE HAS ALL THE TALENT GONE???
Nowadays, production of what is called ‘music’ has taken a turn for the worst. Now, it’s some guy programming beats, another dude buying it from him…ultimately stamping producer on that track (Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs and Jermaine Dupri are notorious for this method).
The so-called ‘artist’ is some chic who can’t sing (but looks cute) — her vocals are pitched into the right note, because she cannot sing in key. This is the sad reality, and it’s exactly why all of today’s so-called ‘artists’ can’t give a solid live performance to save their lives.
After all is said and done, the consumer continues to purchase this rubbish. What’s worse is the consumer has caught on to the method of the illusion, so they too are now trying to become stars themselves — Can you blame them?
All of this is taking place because there is no common respect for the authentic musician. He or she is the ARTIST who (unlike the ‘artist’) really can sing, write and play an instrument. The industry is solely responsible for the demise of THE ARTIST, because the execs refuse to pay THE ARTIST’s worth. Know why? Because, they prefer a half ass kid who they can manipulate, steal their publishing, give him his five-minutes-of-fame, and keep it moving. The music business is no longer focused on the art of music, it’s focused on the art of making money.
Remember the kid in high school, who had no friends, wore glasses and ate lunch all alone? He’s the guy who has grown up to be the biggest shark in the music business!!! Don’t believe me ask Clive Davis?

We are witnessing the destruction of all that is good and all that is holy…everything must be tampered with..
Since music is one of THE main ways to open the “third eye”, ALL music is under attack. Hip Hop, as you know, has been under attack for quite sometime, even when you were in apartment 223…and way before that…
REAL country music is being attacked, tainted, and driven because it does something that all real music does, it touches the heart…
So let me just say this, I am glad you are drawing attention to the attack on music (thus the mind), more people need to be aware of the strings that pull their senses…

black musicians used to have soul in thier music that even white people try to emmulatr it. now black music sound like white trash ass shit.
i have not brought music in over 10yrs. i listen to anita baker, ohio players, luther vandross, angela winbush,etc. those people can sing. what happen is people got greedy so there are no more bands , groups, hell blCK PEOPLE USED TO CAN PLAY INSTRUMENTS NOW IT’S A LL DIGITAL SHIT.
BLACK ARTIST NEED TO GET BACK TO THIER ROOTS. wHEN IT WAS REQUIRED TO KNOW HOW TO SING. damn
