Time Served ~ T.I. Released From Prison

T.I. will be spending his Christmas holidays in an Atlanta halfway house. The rapper was released from an Arkansas prison today, after serving seven months behind bars.

You may remember earlier this year, T.I., whose legal name is Clifford Harris, was sentenced to 366 in the Forrest City penitentiary after the rapper was busted for orchestrating his bodyguard to purchase machine guns and silencers.

Now, T.I. is set to call Georgia’s Dismas Charities Atlanta West his home for the coming months.

Once his time is served at the halfway house, T.I. will go under house arrest for 23 days and complete 500 hours of community service.

I’m happy to know that T.I. is home from jail. Prison is a horrible place… I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I’m sure that his wife and his kids are happy to have him home.

This is hilarious, I just saw the story on Rap Basement this week. I read the story to my roommate and the first word out of his mouth was SNITCH. His brother is finishing up a 6 year bid for alleged cocaine trafficking and was send away by a junkie turned informant. I guess when you’ve got a lot more to loose, and there’s that kind of money behind you, taking your punishment like a man ain’t happening.
