Whites Expected to be America’s Future Minority

A recent Census Bureau study has projected whites to be the country’s minority population by the turn of the century.
Right now, non-Hispanic whites account for almost two-thirds of the nation’s population. But, that number is expected to drop, ranking whites as America’s minority group come 2050.
It all really depends on international migration. America’s current population is estimated at 308 million. Researchers say that number will grow to about 458 million by 2050, with immigrants accounting for 136 million of the increase. They say, if immigration continues, black, Asian and Hispanic children will be the youth’s majority between 2019 and 2023.
Experts say without immigration, deaths will begin to exceed births by 2048.
