    “Becky” is used as a term for both white women, and oral sex. I’ve heard the term used often to refer to white women, especially in a negative way. As a white woman who is named Rebecca, this stings. I could care less that it’s a name for oral sex, but when it’s used in that other way, it hurts. I have date black men. I have dated asian men. Some might say I’ve dated too much I certainly don’t want to be the target of someone’s anger just because I don’t prefer to stick with my own race. My dating preferences are not something I can control, and neither is my skin color. Nobody can have control over what race they are born into. We should respect each other, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic class. I would never ever use a slur to describe a person of another race. Just never.
