Why didn’t Eddie Murphy show up? He and Michael were close. Weren’t they? Search Youtube for Eddie Murphy and Michael Jackson’s video “Whatzupwitu”. I wonder if Billy Woodruff directed that video.
Why wasn’t Chris Tucker there? He was Michael Jackson’s favorite comedian. Liza Minelli was a no show as well…and she was truly close to Michael. Elizabeth Taylor said she’d rather grieve alone at her mansion. Madonna wasn’t there either and she was Michael’s Oscar date back in 1991.
Where was Justin Timberlake? Michael did help his corny ass group NSYNC back in 2001 at the VMAs. The King of Pop performed with NSYNC so blacks would watch. How do you think the black community knew about Justin Timberlake?
Why wasn’t Cher there? The Jackson 5 performed on The Sonny & Cher Show back in 1972. The Jackson 5 gave Sonny & Cher top ratings that evening. Know why? ‘Cuz all the black people were watching their bullshit program mane.
Prince is a Jehovah Witness – same religion as Michael and he didn’t show…What an arrogant little bastard! I can go on and on about which celebrities stayed home. Maybe it was a little too much for them. I don’t know. I do however thank the celebrities who participated in Michael’s memorial. Wasn’t Usher’s performance a little bit too dramatic though?

MICHAEL IN HIS OWN WORDS EXPRESSED HE ONLY HAD A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE HE CALLED CLOSE FRIENDS I BELIEVE URI GELLER WAS ONE OF THEM
HE DENOUNCED BEING A JEHOVAH’S WITNESS BACK IN 1993 AND CELEBRATED HIS FIRST EVER CHRISTMAS WITH ELIZABETH TAYLOR, WHO IS DEFINETLY ONE OF THE FIVE. AND DIANA ROSS AS ONE TOO. AS FAR AS ANYONE ELSE I CANNOT SAY FOR CERTAIN.
A TRUE FRIEND WOULD HAVE KNOWN THE SITUATION AND HAD KEPT THIS FROM HAPPENING IN THE FIRST PLACE. IN MY OPINION MICHAEL WAS A VERY LONELY MAN, WHOM I BELIEVED WAS A FRIEND TO MILLIONS, BUT IN RETURN HAD NO TRUE FRIENDS. I BELIEVE HIS CHILDREN WERE HIS ONLY TRUE FRIENDS.
